Part I: Presentation of Adan

Simon Polrot will present the Association, whose mission is to bring together and develop the crypto-asset industry in France and in Europe. He will give an overview of Adan’s “hot topics” and initiatives led since its creation in January 2020.

Part II: Regulating crypto-assets. Discussions around the coming EU regime

As the European Commission is about to unveil their legislative proposal on crypto-assets, Adan will detail its approach and recommendations and discuss on principles that such a regulation should entail.

The Speaker

Simon Polrot is the President of ADAN, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to bring together and develop the crypto-asset industry in France and in Europe. Since 2015, Simon Polrot has worked with different companies operating in the field (such as Coinhouse, Ledger, ConsenSys, VariabL, LGO Exchange…) on strategy, product, and regulatory issues. He is the co-founder of the Ethereum France Association and was one of the founders and Vice-President of La Chaintech.
